two of my favorite things

1. A potential freckle/mole on the inside of Sophie's elbow. We won't have to tatoo them after all to tell them apart!

2. Urine. Weird maybe, but both girls are starting to urinate more. We are still waiting to hear about what they saw when they looked at the kidneys, but the nurses are very excited that they are peeing a more normal volume.

Here are some pics for you to see. Sorry Grant. I can't get a good shot of the freckle yet. :)
Mattie (above) and Sophie (below) soaking up some rays for their jaundice.
Mattie sprawls out and soaks it up. Sophie doesn't seem as interested.
Not sure who's hands and feet.

Pretty sure they have Amber's big toe!

  1. What precious little feet and hands.

  2. I don't think I have been so excited about urine either until Ms Beverly told me this morning about Sophie! Mantha and Anzly were excited to see the pictures. Mantha said..."ahhh, I love those feet, they are precious". I thought I would share!

  3. oh me, i just want to hold them, they r precious....cant wait until yall r able to hold prayers are always with ya, julie<--the one that keeps your daddy in line (maybe its the other way away, but dont tell him)

  11. Sophie and Maddie are so perfect!
Psalm 139:13-14: For You formed my inward parts: You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are Your works, and THAT my soul knows very well.
Give Amber a big hug for us. We are so proud of the way God is working through both of you.
We pray for you all day, everyday! We love you!
    Geoff and Patti

  12. Josh & Amber,
My prayers are with you all. It will be a long time ago that Natalie and Nicole were born premature like your girls (29 wks). But, reading your posts and looking at the pictures takes me back. The time was very difficult as a parent but God blessed us with two healthy baby girls that are now beautiful young women. I truely believe God is watching over Mattie and Sophie. Remember we love you and will continue to lift you all up in prayer. Sincerely, Sandy Cravens
